Run by a trained professional dance teacher, our Champeta dance classes can be designed to suit your preference. You can opt for one or two-hour classes, you can either learn by yourself or with a partner, and you can choose to take the class under the canopy of the palm trees in the courtyard or on the rooftop by moonlight.

Champeta is a vibrant musical genre and dance style originating from the Atlantic/Caribbean coast of Colombia, with Euro-African and African influences. When it arrived in our country in the 1960s and 70s, it was strictly an underground phenomenon, but today it is accepted as mainstream and is popular all over Colombia.
